Jeremy Dauber is the Atran Associate Professor of Yiddish Language, Literature, and Culture in the Department of Germanic Languages at Columbia University, specializing in Yiddish literature.〔()〕 In 2008, he was named acting director of the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies at Columbia.〔〔(Scholar of Yiddish Named To Lead Columbia Institute - March 10, 2008 - The New York Sun )〕 Dauber is a 1990 graduate of the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey.
